The first meeting will be held at Josiah Quincy School on Saturday, Sept. 11 @ 1pm. We will be meeting outside Chinatown's YMCA on Oak Street. It is on the same block as Tufts Medical Center Orange Line.

It will not be a sit-down type of meeting, Jason will head our first class with some moderate-level hiphop choreography. Please come prepared with comfortable clothing and h2o. It will last approximately 2 full hours. The class size is between 8-12. The goal is to give everyone a taste of what's to come, expectations of members, background of 8centric, and to set up future meetings.

8centric is working with Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) to start up a community dance program. Other partnerships include local dance studios. We are looking for a group of motivated dancers to come together weekly to teach one another dance and possibly start up a dance team. We are looking to create a well-rounded group consisting of various style of dancers. Eventually, experienced dancers will host workshops to teach others and to spread our love of dance.

What if we can create an army of little soldiers like the example below.
